No. Communicating with product guy on FBAre you at the show?
Sure looks 392 Bronze to me. I'm sure the non-392 will be Black. Bronze is prob what they had available. Guess we will see. Here's a high-res shot of it. Those wheels are black or charcoal.

Just asked if fox shocks and answer was no. We should see everything soonCan he send a pic of the shocks? That would resolve this.
You can order the 392 hood from the parts Dept at your local dealership and they’ll even paint it at an additional cost once the 392 becomes a bit more available, if ever.Does it come with this style hood?
Same hood is on the Gladiator Mojave. It does not have the functional vent though, just a fake. You can order the 392 hood from the parts Dept at your local dealership and they’ll even paint it at an additional cost once the 392 becomes a bit more available, if ever.
If i knew i was going to 37s i would wait on the 4.88 gear option. That would be great. I probably won't be ordering until Nov/Dec, so I should be able to benefit from what others have tried before I order.
I'm basically trying to replace the two jeeps I currently own with one. A 98 TJ (44's, ARB's, 4.5" lift, 36" Swampers, beadlocks, trailer towed, etc) and a 2015 JK 2-door Rubicon (33" KM3's on 4.5" backspaced wheels, flat towed, 2" lift, etc). The TJ sees 90% off road use and the JK sees 50% off road use, so I need the new JL to "work" off road. Going from the shorted wheelbase jeeps with 36" and 33" tires to a longer wheelbase 4-dr JL; I feel like I need at least 37", probably 39's would work better for me, but I don't want to make the major changes to this JL to run 39's.
The Rubicon Extreme Recon Package seems perfect for my situation.........if I can run 37's without a lot more adds/mods.
Thanks all for the input and suggestions.
Yes, my JL is a Rubicon. And the Rubicon’s do come with the higher fenders. The MOPAR 2” lift, which many describe as providing closer to 2.5” of lift or more, is an after-purchase addition, though I’ve seen some dealers install the lift on stock Jeeps. Is your JL a Rubicon? I'm confused by the Mopar 2"+ lift, the XR 1.5" lift and I have read the "standard" Rubicon comes with a lift and possibly higher front fenders? I guess I won't really know until some of the 2022 Rubicons XR's actually start showing up at the dealers.
I can live with 37" KM3's, bump stops and light rubbing in extreme situations and sway bar disconnected.
Yeah I figured it was as the Rubi hood is as well but you can always make them functional I suppose. Good catch I didn’t even remember the Mojave had the same hood, ha!Same hood is on the Gladiator Mojave. It does not have the functional vent though, just a fake.
Thanks for taking the time to post up all the good JL Rubicon info and photos. I'm still in the research stage of my JL education. I know a lot about TJ's, a little about JK's and practically nothing about JL's. We have a JK jeep trip planned to Silverton, Escalante and Moab. Hopefully the 2022 order guide will be out by the time we get back. May have to wait a while longer for the 4.88 option to become available. Right now our plans are for a 2022 JL Extreme Recon Rubicon, 4-door, hardtop, 6-spd manual, 4.88 gears, 3.6 motor. Then add 37 BFG's on aftermarket wheels, winch, CB, on-board air, roadmaster base plate for flat towing. Thanks again for the help.Yes, my JL is a Rubicon. And the Rubicon’s do come with.........................
Always happy to help. Unless you think 39s are in your future, I’d think hard about 456s. Its always a matter of balancing intended uses and personal preferences, of course, but, but my JL with 37s and 410 gearing WAY out-performs my TJ in every environment, and my TJ had 33s and 456s. I’m just suggesting you not make your gearing selection based upon your TJ experience. Thanks for taking the time to post up all the good JL Rubicon info and photos.
