I really disliked having to open the hood every time I needed to plug in the Jeep during the cold Wyoming winters. Not sure why the cord wasn’t routed somewhere up front. Tried rerouting it, but it was just too short. Today I added a cord and mounted it to the front bumper. Now it really easy to get too.

My old Evoque had a similar idea (a bit more discrete though), was really nice to not have a cord dangling and scratching stuff up. The JL sleeps in the garage but I may do something similar to the Evoque set up on my wife’s KL Trailhawk.
