Hello, my fiance and I just bought Rubicon take-off wheels and tires for our JLU sport s and now she want to buy and install a 3.5" lift. I was wondering if anybody thought this would be a bad combination until we could afford 35" tires or if we should wait on the lift?

Aside from it looking like a roller skate until you put bigger meats underneath it shouldn’t be a problem, though in truth if you’re aiming to go to 35’s you’d probably be better suited with a 2.5” lift as you’ll run into less hassle trying to correct steering or driveline issue due to the taller lift.

Ok thank you for the advice. We want to put 37's on but we have read that with the D30 in the front there would have to be re-gearing and a faster breaking down of the axle which we don't have the money for that right now. so hopefully in the future that can happen.
