I have a Rubicon and I can’t decide between a 2.5 or 3.5 lift. I am running 35” Nittos. Thoughts? Does anybody have a 3.5 “ lift with 35” tire pics? Pros and cons please!

I got over 3 inches with my Mopar lift here’s picture of fender height over wheel. I’m going to 37s next set of tires. I don’t think it looks bad, I just want to take advantage of the space to get a little more ground clearance.

You can fit 40s on a Rubicon with a 3.5 inch lift. No lift is needed for 35s.
My understanding is 35s will fit opn a stock Rubicon, but will contact opn full articulation.

This is a Rock Krawler 2.5" with 37" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. My recommendation would be 2.5 for 35s and 3.5 for 37s or more if you're planning on wheeling. DD on 37s with a 2.5 is fine, but I'd want more for wheeling and I have 3.5 coils on the way.

Hey Marcus, did your lift come with rear adjustable control arms, or did you add them? Looks like your rear wheel is centered in wheel well, where mine is slightly forward, not bad but you can tell, as I’m still on stock rear arms.

In this picture I just had the front lowers installed, but I have since added all of the arms that came with my X-Factor. I installed it in stages so I could have some drive time on each version of the Rock Krawler lifts. The wheel looks centered because of the angle, but its pulled forward slightly because of the stock arms and added height.

2.5" lift -- 35's or 37's
3.5" lift -- 37's (or more)

35's on a 3.5" lift start looking out of place, and why throw the geometry off more than needed without cause/ benefit?

Did you go with a 2.5 Mopar lift? Also, what size wheel and what's the offset? Thanks! Nice rig

Thanks... it is a 2.5 inch Mopar that netted over 3 inches. Wheels are 20x12 fuel sledge with -44 offset. Tires are 35x12.50x20 nitro ridge grapplers. I’ll be getting 37s soon, since I got so much height with lift.

Why cause all the problems of lifting 3.5 inches to run 35’s? When you can do it stock.

Awesome thanks for the reply! Have you had an issues with rubbing. How is the ride on and off-road? Are you happy with it?
