Will ordering the standard 3.45 ratio be on a 2020 with 2.0 on standard wheels for a daily driver?
At some point will most likely upgrade to 33" KO's with a small chance of 35".

Thank you.

There is no 3.73 available from the factory for the 2.0 or 3.6. I wish there was it would be perfect for 33s.

I have a Sahara with the V6, stock gears and 33.2-inch KO2s: no issues whatsoever.

3.73 gearing is the only ratio available for the 3.0 diesel engine. 3.45 is the only one for the Sport and Sahara models. Rubicons get 4.10

Many members here have said that 35's are the biggest they'd run on 3.45's, before needing a regear. That's in reference to those with the 8 speed automatic.

I so badly wanted to bet you your Mojito (the color I so badly want to order) that you were wrong. I was going to show a screen shot of the Jeep build website where you can get the 3.45 or 3.73 on the Sahara.
Well... you can.... if you order the diesel...Headbarcode is correct and as usual I am wrong.

I went up to 33” (275/70/18) on my Sahara and I’ve mostly lost 8th gear on the highway at 70. I’m contemplating regearing to 4.10. Beyond that, the 8 speed handles the 3.45 ratio fine. I’m running about 2100 RPM at 70.

4.10 the only way to go with 33’s. I have the 6speed sport with 3.45’s I will be jumping to 4.10’s with for my 33” mud terrains. And will change to 4.56 when I get 35’s

I'm planning 3.73 with 37s. The 3.0 should spin them fine with that 442 ft-lbs of torque.

You’re going to re-gear twice? Seems like a waste unless you have those 33’s on there for years and you’re talking really, really long term. Why not just go straight to 35’s and 4.56?

I have 4.56 with 33s on an old truck with a 4 speed auto. First gear is 2.47:1. I barely ever need 4Lo, I bet 4.10 with 8 speed or 6 speed would be enough for 35s unless you’re crawling a lot.

Well, I’ve been told the cost to regear to a 4.10 is about 2100-2500CAD. I may hold off and just do the axel swap I’d like to do down the road.
