3.0L “Tornado” Straight-Six Engine (GME T6) Coming to Various Jeep Models?

What are the odds this will happen? I have seen mixed messages on the Internet with no real data to support it.

I would definitely take a Rubicon with this engine. Maybe an engine swap in the future provided the chassis is not changed too much.

I mean, they claim it will fit in any vehicle that currently has a longitudinal engine, so that would include the Wrangler with it's I4. I would have thought an inline six mounted in similar fashion would not fit, but I guess it will.

So would we speculate making it into ‘23 MY, or possibly an early appearance in the current model later this year?

I’m guessing full 2023 refresh. Unconnect next gen. Panoramic view. Minor interior cosmetics, and the I6T.

They must stay competitive against the Bronco engine options.
