I just got an email from a dealer saying the 3.0D is now available in the system to order. It costs $6k, which includes the new auto trans ($4,000 for Diesel engine upgrade and $2,000 for new 8 speed auto). This represents a $3,250 premium over the price of the 3.6L Pentastar + Auto Transmission combination.

Updated with an order sheet courtesy of @JLURD

Screen shot? That’s a big assumption that it includes the auto trans

Just got a quote back from the dealer. It's 4k for the engine, 2k for the trans. Of course, auto required like the 2.0t.

Not bad, so really only a $3,250 upcharge from the current top engine offering of 3.6/auto

Great, about a grand less than it is for the Ram.

Just ordered my first Jeep. 2020 Diesel Rubicon fully loaded, from Dave Smith in ID. Was told they are supposed to start building them the end of November. Cost just ~$56K.

The Monroney is out for the Ram as well. Looks like it is spec'd at 30 MPG highway for the 4x4. I expect the Wrangler will be nearly identical. The Ram is heavier, but the Wrangler is less aerodynamic.

I hit up my local dealers to get the ball rolling for mine we will see what they say. I would have thought that the 3.0 would have at least made it to the online configurator before the order banks, but what do I know? I just hope I can finally get my order in
