"WE" all diesel owners should get on the local news or email or write a letter and post it all over the apps for them to hurry it up and get i done today !!!!
Nope. My preference is for Bosch to redesign the CP4.2 to make it live forever, test it properly this time, and Jeep to install it without screwing it up. If it could be done today it would be great, but that's secondary to getting it done right--something that should have been done in the first place.

Of course, if someone wants to start a push for Jeep to retrofit our 3.0L with the CP3, I'm all in.

Yeah, but I can't resell my vehicle to anyone with the active recall. Sucks, and double sucks because there's no fix at the moment.
You can sell it if you want. Nothing stopping a private individual from selling a used vehicle withan active recall on it.

I got my 2023 recall I’m the mail today. So they can sell vehicles that they KNOW will be recalled, but the consumer can’t re-sell them?

that’s dirty pool, there.
You can definitely sell it, just know if you private sell it you should probably divulge that information to the buyer. I wouldn't lower your price at all, but it's always good to let the next person know what they're getting themselves into.

Been wanting a diesel JLUR for some time.

No longer wondering why I was able to get 8.5k off MSRP on one.... :swear:

Still want one if there's a aftermarket bulletproof solution however (maybe like this? assuming it's not for the 3.0).

Which model specifically did you get?

My vin. shows recall. Dealer says no.

Dealer has no parts. So it is no to them. But you can easily find the recall for your Jeep. All Wrangler 3.0s are recall.

The notice is on my Jeep App.

BLUF: dealer said they're being told between Q3 and Q4 to complete the recall.

Full story: I was chatting with a dealer today (who has a diesel Wrangler for sale that I'm interested in), and there's a stop sale on the vehicle till the recall is completed. I asked when that might be, and he said "We don't have an exact time frame, but we are being told sometime between the 3rd and 4th quarter of this year."

Hey Everyone,

Still patiently waiting on recall information.

Everything I'm emailed service input (like low tire pressure) there is overly exciting information about the urgent recall and a link to schedule an appointment, followed by information that states scheduling at this time is not possible.

We don't put many miles on it. Since the recall we don't drive it any different than before. Just wondering if that's what most others are doing. (Haven't started down the path of fuel treatments, either.)

Thanks,

Jeff
