Finally got these mounted today. Sort of cherry-picked ideas from various vendors and came up with my own version.
~Wanted to make sure I used a front & rear crossmember
~Full belly pan, including front fuel tank skid
~Had to include exhaust loop skid
~Had to include a resonator/midpipe exhaust skid
~Had to have oil pan, transmission skid wide enough to protect the AT lines
~Had to have a service panel in the oil pan to drain the oil and inspect the rear main seal plugs
~Had to use tapered washers
Ended up w/ the following parts list~
4ftx4ft 3/16" steel sheet ($160 in July)
10ft 2"x1"x3/16" channel iron ($26 in July)
(2) sets of 5 M12x1.50 SS fasteners w/ 6 wide tapered washers ($50 per set, $100 total)
20 tapered aluminum washers, 20 M12x1.75 SS flat head allen fasteners, 20 SS M12x1.75 serrated flange nuts
(approx $50 total)
Machine shop w/ large steel brake to bend the plates ($60, but should have been 3x that, winning!)
(4) Rustoleum 2x Primer Paint in Dark Gloss Gray ($20)
1/2" Milwaukee drill bit ($27)
several Harbor Freight Step drill bits ($20 give or take)
All layout, welding and fitment was on me, luckily I work for free! So less than $600 all-in.
Weight is about 185 lbs. May add rear fuel tank skid if needed, would be about $40 more if & when.
Started out w/ cardboard mock-ups
Got the steel back from the machine shop after I cut them (including all the angle cuts for the bends)
Pieces after welding, drilling, and painting
And hoping for better install pics but had to go through a big flood, so it is what it is.
