Planning to upgrade my tires (stock Sahara Altitude currently) and debating between these two sizes. They *seem* to be basically the same, so is there maybe a cost/availability difference?

Anything else I should be looking at/considering?

Just ask @cosine he knows!
Without a lift you may have a bit more trouble w/ contact on the taller tires at full lock and full stuff, so if you plan to flex out that suspension or turn full lock.

Should be ok other than that.

I had 295/70r18s on my F150 for about a year. They were very heavy and have about the highest load capacity in the E rated tires. Very heavy and a very rough ride, even at 38 PSI. Those were Toyo Open Country AT2s. I can't imagine them on a Jeep driven daily.
