I’m split between 305/70r17 and 295/70r17 for my JLUR. Found this great one of a 305 on a tire thread, but I can’t seem to find a 295 on stock JLUR. Any help? I know it’s not a common size so pics may be rare.

Honestly there'd really be no perceivable difference in a photo as youre talking 33.3" vs 33.9".

Here’s a picture of a friend of mines 2018 Sahara on 295/70-18 tires. He’s running Michelin Defender LTX tires. Yea the rim is an inch bigger than your 295/70-17 but it’s close. He has no lift. Jeep has a 6 speed manual. It has no been re-geared, consequently he seldom uses 6th gear. There are some clearance issues with the front sway at full lock. Honestly they look to be basically the same size as the 315/70-17’s on my 2022 Rubicon XR. It’s just that I have a lot more clearance because of the higher fenders and 1.5” lift on the XR. I posted a picture of my Rubicon too.

I know you have a pic of the 305x70x17 already.....here's another few pics to think it over...I too started off with 295 and luckily the tires were on backorder and I was able to change them...personally I prefer it and also mentioned by someone else, not much of a difference though.

I think the Rubi fenders are higher which is why 35’s fit without a lift. I think the poke will depend on your wheels. I like the poke so when I shopped my wheels I researched for that. From reading these threads for a few years now, if you have the Rubi fenders why not get 35’s? I considered 35’s but would have needed to lift it and didn’t wanna spend the money at the time. The Rubi fenders allow you to go 35’s…just a thought. Spend $$ once.

Hello,
Is this the stock height? And what offset is this? Thank you!
