Confirmed: no rubbing at full lock. I did a full 360 on a level surface, to the left, and didn’t feel nor hear anything unusual. I didn’t do it to the right or on any uneven surface.

Others have reported rubbing at full lock with the same size tires. Perhaps there are enough manufacturing differences between brands to account for the difference in experience.

Just ask @cosine he knows!
You'll probably get a little rubbing on that plastic euro-panel between the bumper and fender, mine did, no-biggie though as it's only a thin piece of plastic. Seemed to only wear down a bit and that was it.

I removed mine and have an ADD front bumper.

blnewt, I love the look of your Jeep, I just want to clarify that the 295/70/17 on 8.5 + 10 offset were before any mods/lifts and also what about the spare? Did it fit?

I know this was directed @blnewt but I can confirm that the spare did NOT fit on mine with Moab takeoff rims. It came very close but was rubbing my aftermarket bumper just a hair too much. I had to get and install the Smittybilt relocation bracket.

Thanks for the kind words! Those pics you posted are w/ stock suspension, I have added a Rubicon suspension swap since then.
Mine fits w/ about a 1/4" to spare, but my spare wheel is different, it's a Procomp 8.5 zero offset IIRC.

Thanks for answering. I am not sure I will upgrade to aftermarket bumpers again, just keep factor for now.

Done. So far no rubbing anywhere. I didn’t play with full lock yet too much but the brief bit I did it didn’t rub. I went with the Cooper Evolution MT (got a good deal from Walmart for $181/ea with free shipping). They should be good for my off-road uses (poorly maintained dirt roads, beach). They also look great and don’t stick out past the fenders. I’m very happy so far. One note is that with my ADD rear bumper I do require either a spare tire relocation bracket or carrier (I ordered the Smittybilt bracket) as the spare barely doesn’t clear.

Edit: Stock Sport suspension and gearing, and JL MOAB wheels.

Jeep looks great with the new tires! Based on these pics, what tire size did you end up with here? There were a few sizes mentioned in this thread. I'm going for a similar look with my build.

Thanks! 295/70-17. Walmart had great prices on coopers

UPDATE: You WILL need a spare tire relocation bracket for this size tire.
