I think my only hesitation with the Toyo ATIII is not knowing how durable the sidewalls are on the C load. Is it possible to have a durable sidewall AND it be C load as opposed to an E load?

Nice Willys! I am currently mulling over going with 285/75 or 285/70, do you have addition photos you can post of front and back of Jeep? Did the spare fit without a relocation bracket?
The spare barely clears the tire, I mean I probably can’t fit a sheet of paper between the tire and bumper. I very much like the ride and feel of the tires. I haven’t had any rubbing on road and light off road use, although I do plan on adding rubi takeoffs in the near future.

Sting Gray Sport. 285/75/17 2.5 inch rough county lift.

Jeep looks great! I am looking into a similar set up on my 2 door Sting Gray. Do you think a 1.5" spacer kit will give me the clearance I need to run the 285/75/17 Ridge Grapplers on the same rims?

+1 for the 285/75/17 tire size and the Toyo AT 3. I chose the Toyos because they are the newest rubber out there and I could get them in a C load. I have put about 1k miles on them and they are great. Thanks to this thread for the advice!

This is exactly the picture comparison I have been looking for. Thank you for posting. Great looking rig! Any issues with the spare tire carrier?

I have stock bumper, should clear according to others in this thread.
Understood and agree Black Jeep Convertible. Just asking because for everyone on this forum that says you don't need to use spacers or lifts for the 285/85/17, I can find 10 that say otherwise. Now, before the naysayers jump in, please understand that this is my DD and I don't plan on anything close to maximum articulation. My tire place dude today said it didn't fit and honestly I didn't stand there and challenge him as I had to get back to work, so I will try it myself in the morning. BTW, the tires ride and look amazing!

Did it not fit width wise or diameter too large hitting the bumper?
