I've crawled under my Willys. The shock numbers are the same for a 2 door Rubicon as they are on mine. There are no Rubicon specific springs as far as I know. All of the springs have different numbers based on bumpers, hitches, etc. I'm sure though that Rubicons have a taller spring, just don't know the specific numbers used on 2 doors. However, when mine is parked next to a Sport S it is noticeably higher by at least an inch. Both the Sport S and the Willys have 255/75/17 (32") tires. I have a feeling that if I put 285/70/17s on mine it would measure the same as a Rubicon.

That's good to know. I feel if they did a red-bodied strut without it being the same Rubi part, that'd be lame, but I can't say I'd be surprised lol.

You may be onto something with the shocks. I know different options constitute a different spring/spring rate, but not sure on the part #. Thanks for chiming in with good info!

To add to that, since they use the same shocks as a Rubicon, the springs would need to be taller to accommodate the shock so it wouldn't bottom out.

According to the chart, my Willys 2 dr hardtop, 3.6 auto has the same springs as a Sport 2.0, 2nd row down

My Rubicon takeoffs according to the chart (659/661 & 590/591) shows a Rubicon w/ Hardtop, Tow, and Steel bumpers. But I know for a fact it was a JLUR & not a 2dr Rubicon. Maybe when it lists Rubicon it can be a 2 or 4dr??? Or maybe they ran out of the longer spring in the parts bin and grabbed the next closest one lol :)

Did the difference in load eating require you to lower the tire pressure C to E load eating?

I'm running Copper AT3 ATX tires in E load at 35psi and they're very comfortable. From what I understand Nitto and BF Goodrich have stiffer sidewalls so it's more important to go with C load on either of those if you can help it. Also, C load tires tend to be lighter than E load. My Coopers are right at 55lbs per tire.

My Willys is configured the exact same way with the same springs as yours. I have 60/61 90/91 springs going on soon but they aren't on this chart. The guy said they were off a jlur with hard top and steel bumpers.

Let us know how they ride. I'd like about 1-1.5" more on mine.

Jeep Wrangler JL 285/75/r17 on stock JL Sport 1595354906947

Sahara with 285/75R17 on stock springs + 1.5 inch spacer lift but due to the weight of my accessories, I've already sagged an entire 1.5 inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear.
So if you put those tires on, without all the other accessories, would you still need the spacer? I'm thinking about that tire size for my 2020 Willys and just getting the high top fender kit from mopar. Thoughts?
