Hey someone has probably answered this already but, has anyone put a 2 inch lift on and had problems adjusting the caster? I know it would have to do with the front lower control arm was wondering if anyone has suggestions!

Thanks

Brand new to the Jeep community and just got mine on Black Friday. I appreciate all the knowledge that people share in here and it made me pull the trigger on 285/75r17s! Nodding my Jeep is so fun! Thanks!

Went with Helo wheels and Falken tires...black looks so much better than aluminum

Jeep looks awesome! I am looking at the same size tires Nitto RG's on my Moab....do you have a lift on yours? Any issues with rubbing or getting the spare mounted on the rear door? Thanks!

Just get the Longer Mopar LCAs, costs $70 and will get the caster back to the 6 degree range. Here's a post I made on the install

I went with a Cooper AT3 XLT. Don't let anyone talk you out of a 285/75/17. This is definitely the way to go if you want an understated boost. I have zero rubbing at full lock and full flex. The ride on these Coopers is actually smoother and more controlled than the 30" stock Bridgestone. I'm running 36lbs pressure and the Jeep feels so much smoother. The Coopers are 57lbs per tire which is the lightest in the size. The Nitto are 63-65lbs in a C rating. Unless you just like the look of the Nitto more, try the Cooper. You won't regret it.

I’ve been contemplating wheel and tire combo for a few months on our 19 sport S. I went through every pic I could find. Joined this forum and placed a post with my questions and literally found this section 5 minutes later ‍. Basically I needed a happy median for road, off-road etc. this post basically answered my questions. So thanks. Went a slightly different route but it should do what I want and looks pretty good in my opinion. Pics never tell the real story. Anyway. Went with a 2” lift, 285/75/17 toyo MTs. These tires actually measure 34.1 inches tall. Little more narrow than a 35 at 11.6 inches wide. I will have to remove the air dam deal on the front, rubs at full lock. Bumper will come off anyway at some point. Only drove it 15 miles. Very hot here today, power seems fine with AC at capacity. Braking is fine, but I’ve always been easy on brakes. Tire Fits on the tire carrier, but it is not ideal. I am going to get a relocation bracket and reinforcement with it as well. Hope this will help someone else. Thanks.

I put 285/75R17 KO2s on my wrangler JLU. They look great and drive great with 32 PSI. Sad but my spare rubs on the bumper slightly, so I guess I’ll need a relo kit. I wanted to avoid that because I don’t like the look of the spare being higher. Any recommendations on how to gain 1/4 inch on the right without the relo kit?

Hm.. I just got 285/75/17 KO2s but couldn't mount the spare. The tailgate wouldn't close beacause the spare was rubbing on the bumper. Maybe deflate the spare a bit if you only need a 1/4 inch? I deflated the spare to 16psi but didn't work ;(

R/C relocation bracket should be a quick fix. That or a 1/4" spacer. My Coopers must have more rounded edges.

I ordered a set of cheap 3/8" spacers while waiting for the relocation bracket which has been backordered. The spare still didn't clear the bumper and it didn't feel safe since the lug bolts got too short. I tried using a heat gun today and it worked! I also like how the spare rests on the bumper :)

Before i installed the Rough Country relocation bracket i was running 285/75 on the stock wheel and it didn't touch. Just curious how much psi is in your spare? I always had mine around 30ish..

Tires do look great!
Did you get C rated or E rated tires? If i had to do it over again id probably go with C for the softer ride on road.. but the E does give me peace of mind.. they're practically indestructible on the trails.

He also has different wheels than us. I wonder if the offset is different.

I had mine around 16 psi thinking deflating it might work. I wanted to get C rated but KO2s only come with E rated. I noticed they're a little stiffer but not too bad.

Aren't all stock wheels have same specs? I'm guessing not all wranglers are identical and maybe the tailgate wasn't aligned properly from the factory or the rear bumper was installed slightly to the passenger side.
