Wheel offsets confuse the heck out of me. How much poke past the fender well?

Gonna be out an inch or so from edge of fender I’d say? Just eyeballing it, it seems like there’s 1.5-2 inches to the edge on stock wheels. (At work no tape measure lol)

I recommend pushing the little pull down menu at the top, clicking on the calculator again and inputting your exact Jeep and OE tire/wheel size.

I’m sure others will explain the offset/backspacing of a wheel.

I am running a 35x12.5x20 on a 20x9 +1. They stick out 2.5 inches from my fender. Your 8.5 -6 wheel extends 1mm more then my setup but a 285/70 is 11.2 inches wide (1.3 inches less than my 12.5 wide tire).
2.5-1.3=1.2 inches.
Id bet your setup will extend approximately 1.2 inches past the fender.
