I am thinking about putting a set of 255/75R17's on my JL Sport Unlimited. I am picking up 5ea Roubaix JL Wheels tomorrow and am looking to add upgraded rubber as well.
The 255/75R17 does not appear to be a popular choice here.
Comparison:
245/75R17 (stock) = Diameter 31.5" x Width 9.6"
255/75R17 (getting) = Diameter 32.1" x Width 10.0"
285/70R17 (stock Roubaix) = Diameter 32.7" x Width 11.2"
The stock Roubaix tire size will fit the Sport but many of the images I've seen, it appears to be a tight squeeze without a lift.
The 255/75R17 I am considering look to be about in-between the stock sport and the stock Roubaix sizes.
I am considering these: (C rated tires only)

Thoughts? Anyone running this size already?
