Hello,

I have some new tires on order at my local tire shop to be installed this weekend.

After a lot of research I decided to go with 255 75r17 KO2s.

(Yes, I know I could get 285 take offs for cheaper and there would be no rubbing issues most likely, but this is my daily driver and I go on long distance trips frequently - 5k miles plus with a lot of weight so my suspension drops a little for clearance and I want to reduce any weight I can tires included. No plans to regear, suspension swap, etc)

Basically I just want to be sure I ordered the correct Spec tires as this is a big investment to me. KO2 BFG 25575r17 C load rating (6 ply side wall). I have posted the specs below:

Any advice is much appreciated to be sure I got the right load range etc.

Never heard back from anyone so went ahead and pulled the trigger. Really happy with how they look. Wasn’t sure how much of a difference it would make, but it was night and day from the Orginal Goodyear ATs. Really happy with the size too. Will report back after a couple thousand miles for mileage, etc. No real difference in ride quality as of now, but road noise is up a little.

I'd tell you, but you know the rest....

Yep. Same tire size and load range that’s comes stock on the Willys trim.

Looks good. Much better than the 245s.

Those are exactly what I am running on my 2DR Spurt. Just put 7800 overlanding miles on them in the last month. Love em.

I ran them at 45 PSI until I got into rough gravel roads.

You did well. The perfect size and spec of tire for the stock suspension.

How much gear is in the back of the Jeep? It’s sagging a little.

I think you made a great choice. This size looks and works great with stock sport s suspension. I really like K02's as well; very good all-around tire.

The thickness of the sidewalls is very important ; excellent choice, the factory 245s are very thin sidewalls indeed.
