When I asked Jeep chat today for the alphanumeric code my Jeep was in, they said they were no longer able to give the codes.

I had heard that. But I still had to ask. Someone answered saying that would mean D-1, which is what I was thinking. I just wanted someone that might have more dealings with them give their thoughts. Thanx for the info. Hope yours is getting built soon.

Dealer told me today that I moved to D1 status. 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon XR. Order date 11-9. VIN 15150.

Production just began yesterday. Highly unlikely they'd start production only to stop it a day later due to chip shortage. They have their parts lined up well in advance.

According to the press release, the changeover was scheduled to happen yesterday but I haven't seen anyone get build sheets from yesterday. Supposedly mine was scheduled for build yesterday but it wasn't built.
