Do you know what the status code on yours is / was? I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to stay in KZS all the way up to delivery. lol every little morsel of info helps

No. Last code I got was D1 / production on 6/6 from dealership. After that I was just going off of the tracker:

Order date: 4/8
D status / Vin: 4/18
D1: 5/5
Production: 6/6
Built: 6/7
Shipped: 6/8

Salesman and JC did confirm “it shipped and is on the way to the dealership” but yeah that’s it Not very helpful since that’s exactly what the tracker was saying hmm you can see if @bjm00se or @Ratbert have any insight on your inquiry. They are pretty knowledgeable!

Seems like many dealers get delivery and then take a day to "prep" the vehicle. Anyone know what happens during this preparation process? Anything I should specifically ask them to not do?

Can't really add anything. From what I've been able to see, once Jeep hands the Jeep over to the shipper, it counts as "shipped" from Stellantis, and from then on is the property/problem of the dealer even though it's in custody of the shipper.

So the dealer has as much info on shipping status as Jeep itself - maybe more.

But those statuses are only visible on internal systems and aren't on public URL endpoints subject to viewing by tools like ratbert's or cryptostickers.

So yeah, once it's shipped, your only recourse is to pester your dealer.

Final update!!

She’s finally home!!! My broker asked if I wanted to pick up the Jeep today or wait till next week. Of course today!!!

I’m still in disbelief that my Jeep is an actual object after almost five months of status checks, sitting in D stage and just being an idea on a computer screen.

What a hectic day today…so rushed and unprepared; as the adrenaline wears off and I’m able to slow down and settle in, I’m sure it’ll hit me. But right now it’s still not real!

I’ve been checking my garage and it’s still there though…

Just hang in there everybody! The day WILL come. The wait became my reality and I slowly began to accept I wouldn’t have my Jeep for another few months…but it’ll happen and it’s totally worth it!

They install floor mats, antenna, add fuel, clean the car ect. I always tell them to not put any dealer stickers on my vehicle.

they do a final ( they should do a final) quality control inspection. to make sure there was no damage in transit. wash it, install mats, random stuff like that.

We digitally signed for the Jeep last night but I neglected to spot the lack of the tread lightly discount. I sent all the info to the guy preparing our file for the finance manager including the membership letter and the control number. We have not picked up the Jeep yet but signed docs online. Is there any recourse for this issue? I left a VM for the finance guy but he had probably already left for the day.
