UPDATE: Contacted JC today and mine still says it’s in the scheduling phase. Says as soon as parts are available it will enter the build stage. I’m thinking mine may take longer as I did order the cold weather group and sky 1 touch Sahara with automatic transmission. I am excited that the 8.4 screen is standard on the 22s. I wanted the larger screen, but couldn’t justify the price since I drive maybe 5 miles a day.

Dealer told me when I ordered it to expect 10 to 12 weeks which would be a January delivery, yeah right.

Just talked to JC and was told parts are being scheduled. I made the decision to start shopping in March, the wait is killing me!

Are Vins supposed to be sequential by the order date? I’ve seen other posts & noticed lower #’s on later order dates. Post above shows 11/6 with a vin about 2500 less than mine that was ordered 11/2 per my priced order confirmation sheet.

If it's like any other manufacturing, the VIN is by build schedule. In other words, it's the sequence they plan to build it in.

I herd 2022 Wrangler production has not started yet. Supposedly Dec 12-13 is the start date for 2022s now. Hopefully they start before the Christmas week. Fingers crossed.
