Mike from Mall of Ga said that he has 50 Wrangler orders in and “only 3 have build dates,” which is honestly 3 more than I thought he would have. I’ll take it though.

I agree. My only thought is something in their order not available right now. They won’t stop all production because one option is out of stock. They may build what they have in stock. Don’t know just thinking that may be the case.

Nope. I am up here in Syracuse NY and ordered from a local dealership! All parts are gathered and was told I will be in the production line this week! I am beyond excited....and yes still holding my breath to go back to D status. But I am enjoying my D1 status for now

Yep, VINs may be issued in a sequential manner, but the vehicles are not built in order of the VIN.

VINs are usually assigned in the order the factory has received a build request from the dealer. With some manufacturers, the dealer order code used also plays a factor (e.g. priority order customer paid). And, one of the more common reasons is driven by the just-in-time process of delivering vehicle parts as needed for assembly.

In the latter case, I may be screwed (see options below). I can see Jeep waiting for enough parts.

My build is attached below. I've ordered many trucks in the past but the waiting these past few years with all these constraints really is torture!

At least I know (hopefully) I'll get mine this year. Not like Ford where my Bronco was ordered in Oct 2020 and because of their allocation system I wouldn't receive it until sometime in 2024!
