As expected nothing really changed. We're too close to the end of JL's lifespan for them to sink money into this platform.

One notable change is that all 392's will now have the "Dana M235 X-wide full floating rear axle". That would be an improvement for those getting a 392. This could usher in other improvements, such as 37" tires. It may then find its way into other trim lines. We will see.
