Yeah I'm an XR pretty much minus the gearing and the taillight extenders today. The XR had just been announced when mine was going in. Curious to see what you find out on the MDS work. I'd love to get the '23 or '24 flash that tames that down with OR+.
If successful I will report on the drivability in OR+ thread. I have the first ECM (AA), AB in 21 (XR ?), AC in 22., it’s now for all 21-22’s.

I wonder what this means for those of us that already have 392s on order. Will the dealers play games ?
If you have a good dealer, you should be fine especially ones that have posted actively announce under invoice pricing.

Doesn’t apply in this situation. Price lock only locks in the price to the dealer. The dealer price to the customer is at the dealers discretion. Ask the Challenger people.
That would mean the dealer didn’t charge me for the price increase between ordering and delivery out of the goodness of his heart. That is difficult to comprehend. :CWL:

If you have an email stating it. For my Dealer (Ourisman) he has a post with a break down of the pricing structure along with stating its price protected. Plus I have an email with them too. I cant speak for all dealers but they would get backlash on here if they went back on their word. So as long as you have a credible dealer (primarily on Ratberts list) and written verbiage its price locked you are good.

i was hoping 25 would've been the final edition. other than badging, i dont see them making any significant upgrades. factory 37s would be nice
Given the UAW info that broke down the next few years it makes sense that 392 is getting phased out. I think the TRX (and Durango) are the last two V8's remaining for MY24. I knew V8's would be phased out but damn this quick already

Well that certainly explains the definitive standard guideline. So the dealer that tried to slip in “protective polish” that- I didn’t request it and you didn’t ask - 3 times before the excuse “they didn’t know it was ordered, just grabbed it off the truck and polished it”- so you’re charging me for your mistake ?!- “I’ll take it off” — didn’t go for the price increase when he could have ?‍?. They have ways anyway. After accepting an MSRP offer from a first dealer, then a call saying it will be here in about 2-3 weeks but my boss was mad and said I should have gotten 5K over- We have an agreed price with down payment. Called 2 weeks later “ bad news, there was a glitch in the system and we didn’t get the allocation”

Yeah. Hood and fender decals, dash and shifter badges, seat embroidery, under hood or inside tailgate plaque. Maybe some limited edition colors. It's possible it gets the 20A goodies (triple hoop grill guard, extended rock rails, onboard air in the tail gate) but if it does then watch all those things become options on the standard Rubicon in 2025.

Also, the Grand Cherokee L comes with the 5.7. Almost certainly getting replaced with the Hurricane for MY25.

2024 is the end of the Hemi.

It appears little notice except a “Final Edition” announcement like the TRX. No one should be surprised. Those who waited will not like the mark up’s …. Wish I was smart enough to get 2 at $73.5K—
They will jack up the price then give it a year or two they will just like the Trx, Demon prices will come down. The 392 are cool I bought at sticker from a local dealer was not super impressed they do have plenty of power but if you want yo go fadt buy a Challenger or Charger. I didn't care for the handling compared to the diesel or 3.6 model just me I sold both mine and don't regret it...but thats what I do as a dealer

Why would anyone want the V/8 if the 3.0-liter, inline six-cylinder "Hurricane" engine - including one version rated at 540 horsepower may be the replacement?

I don’t see that happening, the block is too long to fit into the JL frame without extensive modifications. Maybe the next iteration of the Wrangler but I don’t see this going into a JL.
