New user here. I could use some help!
I just got my 2024 Sahara, fully loaded.
The UConnect has a big, beautiful 12" screen. The GPS is very visible. I mostly use android Auto for GPS and music.

Jeep had announced the application of Trails Offroad guides for the 62 Jeep Badge of Honor Trails, and the ability to subscribe to the full 3,000 plus Trails Offroad trail guides, all through the In Dash UConnect system.

I have been unable to find the application for this feature.
A few days ago, Jeep emailed giving me a 6 month subscription to OnX Offroad, which runs on a handheld device. I wonder why they did this? Are they still going to follow through with the Trails Offroad app?

I have seen Trails Offroad both on YouTube and announced in this forum, but the icon is not on the Off Road screen, or anywhere else.

There's another thread, not to far down from this new one you just posted (https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/any-new-2024-owners-using-adventure-guide.116759/) that asked a similar question. Don't think we have a straight answer as to what is going on. Not sure if we have confirmed if Rubicon's have it or not today? My guess is that it's not ready for the current patch that's running on these radios or it's specific to certain models only which makes no sense...

I reached out to Trails Offroad earlier this month. They confirmed it was coming, but Jeep was working out a few bugs. No firm date on release, but they did confirm it will be an “over the air” release.

Thanks All. I can confirm, it is not there. I have reached out to Jeep to get the answer.

I emailed TrailsOffRoad as well:
Hello,
I cant find anywhere on the site to answer this question. I have a full access subscription and have purchased a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Can I use my subscription on the built in Trails Off Road app in my uconnect 5 system?
Thanks
Their response was the following:
Hi William,

Thanks for reaching out. The long story short answer is, unfortunately, not right now. They are still working on finishing the Adventure Guides app and bringing it to market, but it will go in without any way to link the account from Trails Offroad to Adventure Guides. This is one of the first things that our team and theirs will be working on as soon as Adventure Guides goes out as it is much-needed functionality.

We just run onx offroad from the phone to the display. You can use live and offline maps that way.

Good to know there's a workaround....otherwise I'm sure the update would be released right as our trial is over... ?

Well I guess they have about 3 weeks left to keep their promise. Been playing around with it online and it's pretty neat, but not a ton of trails in NJ sadly.

We got the chance to use ONX Offroad, through UConnect, on the trails this weekend and it was great. I normally take my tablet for it but I no longer will need to.

After using Trails Off Road exceptional tracking feature I now only use OnX for recording my runs and finding obscure trails. I used to think it was great, but I realized otherwise.

Then I want my free trial of Trails Off Road. Remember, we are new to offroading so maybe I don't know better but I have had good luck with onx. I started with Gaia but I am not smart enough to efficiently use it.

Gaia has an incredibly steep learning curve. I stumbled around with it a bit, then gave up.

OnX is quite a bit easier to use than Gaia. Trails OffRoad is quite a bit easier to use than OnX, primarily since it focuses on the better trails and renders more than just trails
