On the other thread there's talk about not being able to order the 2.0L turbo... that it's possibly being dropped? Couple of people said their orders had to be changed from 2.0L to 3.6. Their dealers seemed to back this up. Anyone else heard this? I've been at C since July 10th. Maybe this is why? The official web site still makes you choose 2.0L for automatic transmission?

My identical experience for an almost identical Jeep. :fist bump:

It has the premium soft top, right? I thought that it would have come with the tinted windows.
Good eye. That's the first premium top I've seen without the deep-tint window panels, which, according to the configurator, remain a $595 option when building a 2024.

Likely just rank speculation. It's difficult to envision the only engine used in the 4xe Jeeps being dropped from the lineup, at least until there's ample proof of a replacement engine.

Yeah, I was hoping the now standard premium soft top would come standard with tinted windows (like it always has). Figured the option for tinted windows was just an error. But I guess Stellantis really wants / needs that $

Jeep Wrangler JL 2024 Sport and S waiting room Wrangler69 E

Vehicle Built 08/16 with Monroney and build sheet live. And EST delivery changed from 09/06 to 09/04.

Jeep Wrangler JL 2024 Sport and S waiting room Wrangler69 KZ

At this point I figure the dealer will be a better source of delivery date since they should know incoming shipments.

Just before the update, on 8/09/23, I did a chat with support, and actually got some useful info:

"Upon carefully checking, your vehicle has been scheduled phase on 07/20/2023 and ready for production. Time in this stage varies based on your particular vehicle configuration.

Once your vehicle has started production, you will see movement on the tracker Jeep® Vehicle Order Tracking...
...they are doing some test and program for the parts that may use once it will be started in the production.

What I can tell you is the vehicle is on track and I don't see any issues or red flags at this time."

This weekend I stopped by the dealer to check out a '24 Sport (a lot stock with the upgrades I don't like). First time checking out the interior changes in person, and I got pumped up taking one out with the engine/trans combo I have coming. Still hate the rectangle vents and giant screen. Glad there are still manual radio dials (didn't notice from PR photos). Front side air bags have been moved from the outside of the seat bottom to the roll bar.
Turbo has some whine but overall sounds as cool as the V6. Seems just as quick. Curious to see how it will be off-road. Friend used to riding in my Jeep said the shifts and ride felt smoother on the '24. Not drastically different but more obvious after being used to mine.

The transmission and rest of the drivetrain is identical and both Wranglers were optioned identically and should weigh about the same. So I'm attributing any difference in ride to the turbo, with its higher torque @ lower RPM compared to the V6.

Glad you guys pointed out the Premium Soft Top - I started comparing the new window sticker to the one from my '20 and looks like Premium is now standard.
According to the build sheet, stock tires are Nexen vs the '20 with Michelin.
Hill Descent is gone as a feature of the auto. On the '24 the auto is paired with Selec–Speed Control, which seems to have the same function but I assume works differently.

This is almost identical to what I ordered on 6/28, same color and premium soft top, except I got Sport S and 2T. Hopefully mine gets built soon.

I ordered a Hydro Blue Sport S as well back in July, but I ordered the manual. So I'm still waiting. Not even scheduled yet. I'll just stare longingly at pictures of yours...

Arrived at the dealer 8/28, a week ahead of schedule!

Official tracker still does not show "Shipped", and EST Delivery reverted to TBD.

Another oddity, searching my VIN shows it listed on one dealer site:

Congratulations. Obviously I love the color and that configuration (ordered the same). I am hoping perhaps the gates open up so mine gets built soon. Let's hope your dealer is the one who gets your Jeep. Would be nasty if it got shipped to that other dealer. :(

Just got a call from the dealer - I have a ship date of 9/13 which is weird as the tracker still has it in confirmed.
From what I experienced the scheduled ship date was the date it gets scheduled and moved into D. And I believe others had similar experiences.

Was it a ship date or an arrival date?

I got an estimated arrival date when I went into E (9/11), that then got delayed a day two days after (9/12). It dissapeared when it went into KZM (Shipped) and then reappeared a few days later with an earlier date (9/8).
