It's not so much prioritizing them as forced to do them for states that require only those models on the lot. Some states only allow hybrid types to be sold on the lots, they can still order non hybrids but they're requiring only hybrids to be sold. That's why you'll see some dealers have only those in some places. I ran away from the 4xe, had one 4 months, the forums on facebook were littered with battery problems and long waits to get them fixed. Ended up selling it while it was worth something and ordering a v6. But yeah, they're having to fill some states lots with electric ones and are playing catch up now.I told my husband that this was what was reported as happening. He was asking about my build and how it's going/where it's at last night (I'm at 155 days with no end in sight). He said that if they really are prioritizing electric over other builds, and treating customers that way, it makes him not want to get it anymore. We'll see.
