2024 Order Waiting Room

I told my husband that this was what was reported as happening. He was asking about my build and how it's going/where it's at last night (I'm at 155 days with no end in sight). He said that if they really are prioritizing electric over other builds, and treating customers that way, it makes him not want to get it anymore. We'll see.

It's not so much prioritizing them as forced to do them for states that require only those models on the lot. Some states only allow hybrid types to be sold on the lots, they can still order non hybrids but they're requiring only hybrids to be sold. That's why you'll see some dealers have only those in some places. I ran away from the 4xe, had one 4 months, the forums on facebook were littered with battery problems and long waits to get them fixed. Ended up selling it while it was worth something and ordering a v6. But yeah, they're having to fill some states lots with electric ones and are playing catch up now.

My order is in MD which I think is one of the dealers that can only sell in stock units that are 4XE (Hybrids) so it makes sense why it would be taking along (+ strike)

205 days? Which Rubicon did you order?

I ordered an Anvil non-X Rubicon XR, 3.6L Auto. Others who have ordered around the same time have been delayed as well. Non-X Rubi’s were the last trim level produced for whatever reason, and then there is no rhyme or reason as to who gets built first. There have been countless similar builds showing up on dealer lots, but we who ordered early have been put at the end of the line. Beyond frustrating…

She finally has been delivered! Tracker says the 29th and doesn’t say it’s been shipped. My saleslady took the photo with her work phone and its super pixelated. She’ll send more later. Won’t be able to get her until this weekend. It’s finally over ??

Mine finally moved to build. Don't be afraid to make some noise. My order was expedited.

I have been amping up my noise making lately. Two months ago they said that my order was expedited. The strike has been the last excuse.

Well now my situation has changed. Just heard from the garage today and my daily driver is dead. So as of now, I'm down to one car for the wife and I. Not too sure what I'm going to do at this point. I know they have not even started production on the MT's yet, and when I reached out to my dealer (still cant see anything on the trackers) there is not even an estimated ship date for me. If it looks like I could get it before the end of December maybe I can make something work. If its going to be much longer than that, I might need to change my plans.

No luck with dealer inventory? Fly out to another dealer and buy inventory ones? I know some states are forcing the 4xe on the lots only but it's worth looking around.

I could probably find something, but with an manual is hard to find. Plus if I do, its probably going to be listed for more than my order, without all the options I want. I ordered from Gupton in Tennessee. They actually have a 2023 MT Rubicon on the lot. I'm not crazy about the color and it doesn't have all the options I wanted. Priced at around the same as what my order was though.

I hear you, jeeps website has a shop online, you can see every dealerships inventory but trying to check each transmission is a pain in the ass. I saw a couple Mt in my state when I was shopping but they're like 1 out of like 25. I gave up trying to find what we wanted at dealers, they'd either be missing an option or have something we don't want. With the low inventory now nothing was on sale either.

That's tempting. I also ordered a MT from Gupton and also have a daily on its last legs. But I like the orange

Ohh, they're being exxtrraa careful with your build. Maybe they're snapping all your fuses into place... 1 fuse per week
