Very similar boat .. I have a Hydro Blue Rubicon 4xe with SOT on order. Went D1 07/12 and text my dealer this morning to see if they had any further info for me. With a birthday in August, I am really hoping to take delivery then.

Who'd you order from? You and I are on very similar build paths and timing right now.

Ooh interesting! I ordered through Fort Collins Dodge Chrysler Jeep. Crazy you were scheduled the day after you were confirmed but maybe there's a batch for CO orders they're about to push. ?

I don't know but I'm half tempted to call my dealer and get the color changed to Bikini while there is still time.

I was 100% of the same mindset until they told me I couldn’t order the SOT with Bikini so I just stuck with my current order. So crushing though because I REALLY love the color.

2024 mopar brake controller. Ok kids, jeep doesn’t drill the holes for the brake controller mount in the aluminum frame under the dash anymore. Real blast doing that lol. But the mopar brake controller does work on the 24s….if you can get it. Oh and make sure the factory plugged all the trailer wires in ??. Ground and right turn completely pulled out of harness under right rear bumper area. Dorks.

People who ordered on day 1, and went to D1 on day 2, do you have amazing credit scores? Maybe the dealer and Stellantis do a soft credit check and prioritize sold orders based on that.

Well now we wait. Ordered over the weekend. Being forced into the V6 was a little surprise but should be fine I suppose. Not a lot of pics of Anvil floating around so here’s one I test drove over the weekend. 2.0 but otherwise fairly similar to my build.

Why did they force you into the 3.6? I'm looking at ordering and going back and fourth between a Rubicon or a willys XR.

That is ridiculous and has no impact. I've never had a dealer take any information on me beyond my name and address to place an order. Also many people don't finance either.

Why did they force you into the 3.6? I'm looking at ordering and going back and fourth between a Rubicon or a willys XR.

I don’t know the status of every model but I was told Jeep isn’t taking 2.0 orders on Rubicons currently and it’s not known when that will change.

Just talked with my sales dude and it looks like I'm on track for August with my current order unless anything changes. Apparently he's seeing rough estimates on his side. I decided to stick to my guns, if I ordered Bikini now, I'd start from square one and who knows when the hell it would go into production. Jeep did a really short run for Gecko in '21, my guess is Bikini will get a batch run sometime in September if they close the books on it in August. I also have a feeling there's gonna be a TON of these ordered since it hasn't been around for a few years like Anvil. Plus my biggest fear is I'm gonna get sick of driving around in a bright teal Jeep after a few years and want something more subdued that won't be a nightmare to paint match for rock chips and trail rash.

Technically my ordered was submitted on the 30th of June so I didn't go into D1 until almost 2 weeks later. My credit score is good but it has ZERO bearing on my order sheet since they didn't even soft pull me. All I have securing this beast is the routine $500 deposit that my dealer requires.

I ordered Rubi X, 3.6, SOT on April 27th, and still in C. Talked with my dealer, no updates. Debating on switching to a 2.0, but they’re saying the SOT is also delaying orders.
