Anyone have any insight on real world mpg for the 2024 Wrangler with the 2.0, particularly the Willys or Rubicon (4dr)?

I'm getting 16ish around town and 19 on the highway in my 24 2 door Willys. I have 35s with no lift with a tazer to calibrate for the larger tires. Highway mileage is closer to 17 if the top is down. I have about 800 miles on it and I'm hoping it gets a little better as it wears in more.

It's amazing that I get better gas mileage in my F150 with twice the torque weighing over a ton more.

My understanding is that the lack of FAD on the 24 Willy’s / Rubi is contributing to the lower mpg. You think 20city/20hwy is achievable on 33’s driving conservatively/ using cruise control ?

For my 24 averaging 19ish in my 2 door Willys. That’s split pretty evenly between town and highway driving. First few days lucky to average more than 16. It’s getting better it seems over time. I imagine the 4 door wouldn’t be too far off.

Cruise control has resulted in lower MPG in every car I have ever driven unless I’m using adaptive at the shortest follow distance and drafting behind semi.

You could definitely do 20 mpg with the stock tires if you keep it below 65 mph. 20 mpg around town would be hard to consistently achieve. There are always going to be cases where you can get more.

For the 1100 miles between 700 and 1800 miles (ie after break in) average was 16.7 mpg. Mix of highway, city and off road.

My feeling is that the 2.0 uses less fuel than the 3.6, until you put your foot in it, and then it uses a lot more.

Head winds make a huge difference, then cruising speed, then drafting other vehicles. Tire pressure doesn't seem to matter on KO2s.

If it makes you feel better I get better mileage than the 4xes in the group.

Thanks. Is yours broken in yet ? Use adaptive cruise control?
8k miles. no adaptive cruise. i do use the cruise when im on the freeway and its flat. IM in northern va and its kinda hilly where im at and a lot of 2 lane roads. so not a lot of cruise usage.

Mpg on 2024’s is a little worse than previous years , at least for the 2.0’s

I’m getting about 16 to 18 mixed on my 24 with 2 inch lift and 35s, metal bumper. I was getting 19 to 23 with the EXACT same set up on my 23. Both 4 door Rubicons.

I’ve hand calc’s every tank for the first 10k miles on my xr ‘23. I get 17mpg average, and the screen shows 1.5mpg.

I'm surprised with what everyone is reporting here! I use the gauge cluster report and hand calc my MPG with a 22' 4dr willys using the 3.6. I've been getting about 20MPG combined and that's inclusive of NYC rush hour traffic/city driving. I do baby the throttle for the most part.
