New to Jeeps. Always wheeled FJ40s and Full-size K5s in the past. Just purchased a 2023 Rubicon eco diesel. Rolling around underneath it I noticed a loose bolt between engine and transmission. It is on the passenger side and has an exhaust bracket. Feels tight but appears very loose with free play in washer. Is this normal? Made for expansion and movement of exhaust system?

Definitely not normal. Either tighten it yourself(I donā€™t know the torque spec) if youā€™re so inclined or take to the dealer to deal with.

Not only an exhaust bracket bolt, but tranny/bell housing too. Normal? Weā€™ll sort of, but definitely shouldnā€™t be normal, or loose.

Tighten that thing down or you'll have a seal leak in no time.

Also, went to dealer today...service adviser showed picture to a tech in their shop. He said the tech said it was not a problem and just have them tighten it up at the first oil change?!? Their soonest appt. is in 1 month and would not do it on short notice.
I think I may just tighten it up myself...
Donā€™t know proper torque...

That is a šŸ’© service advisor. That shouldn't even require a RO. IMO

I would ask for a review online for good customer service and just do it.
