2023 JLU Oil leak

I purchased a new JLU Willys XR last week and have began to notice several oil spots on the garage floor. After taking a look at it, it looks to be a rear main seal issue. Not quite the east fix I was hoping for.. Anyone else having this issue with the ‘23 2.0L?

had this happen with 1500 miles on my 18. Took the dealer longer to find the seal than to get it installed. been good for 22K miles on the new seal.

I figured it was a fairly common thing. Still frustrating when it happens with 650 miles on the vehicle

I agree. My dealer laughed at me when i dropped it off. Said there was no way it was a rear main seal and that I did know what I was talking about. Joke ended up on them!

Could be a simple oil pan leak, too. There isn't an actual seal part for that, it's basically just RTV. Might be a poor application that needs to be redone correctly.
