No 22’s will be made after the first 23 starts… as others stated, any 22 not made by that date will get converted. If August turns out to be correct, the 2022 model year run will be one of the shortest in recent history - not even a full 8 months - as 22’s didn’t even start until December 16th. Jeep may possibly be targeting a more-than-full-calendar-year run for the 23’s due to it being a big anniversary year. I could see them running 14-16 months easy. I’ll keep my less common 22 IF it ever gets here! Ordered October 8th - the first day MY’22 order banks were open.
holy shit, October 8? What specs did you get? I ordered mid October and truck was built 1/24 and delivered 3/15. A rubicon 4xe with tow, cold, leather, gorilla and hardtop.

392… honestly think it was the darn trail rail management system causing the delay. Only common denominator I can find with several other folks who’ve been waiting almost as long (but I’m still currently holding the record)

as long as youre not putting a deposit, order a 22 then wait and see if the 23 is worth the price bump and extra waiting time.

People are paying over MSRP in the Chicago area. Its a robbery here
That’s why I went to Dan Cummins in KY - plus got to break it in on the drive back.

Sure...
There are a few people under the impression that the 22’s will somehow be more valuable cause of a short model year. 🤣🤣🤣. These are Jeep’s we’re talking about and they built a STUPID amount of 2022s in the 8 months they were available. 22s will depreciate in time the same way all cars do and the 23s will be worth a lil more as they’re a model year newer.

um, no. Still no where close to pre-Covid/pre-supply chain issue years. If 1/2 previous years is ”stupid” numbers…

2018: 240,000 units
2019: 230,000 units
2020: 200,000 units
2021: 205,000 units
2022: 45,000 units through April

If rumors of August start on MY'23's is accurate, a best guess estimate is that Jeep can double that number since roughly the same time Dec through April and May through August which gives around 90k units produced - numbers that Jeep hasn't done since the introduction of the JL

Remember that likely all Wranglers built in September 2022 or later will have automatic emergency braking as standard equipment based on the agreement between NHTSA and automakers. Some may wish to order sooner or later depending on how they feel about that.
Thats retarded. Its ok if its installed with standard options. But you have to be able to disable it. Otherwise you cant drive properly! Lane weaving becomes chaotic with alarms and emergency braking every 50 yards!

Hey this is good news! Wonder if we will get announcements anytime sooner. If so, then I’ll probably just order a 392 for the 23MY. Hoping for some new anniversary colors and uConnect 5, but I doubt the switch from uConnect 4.

I’ve been at the car game probably longer than most on this forum have been alive. And the reason I’m right? History is on my side. When it comes to American muscle, short model runs are the most sought. And whether you’d like to admit it or not, the Jeep 392 is American muscle. And when the market drives high value, it has also historically trickled to lesser trims. So sure, you’re right and 70 years of history are wrong.
Haha. There will be no difference in values between 2022 392s and the 2023 392s. Literally none. The lack of changes and multiple model years will have them hovering at the same price. The 2022 is not a limited edition
You’re certainly entitled to your opinion though.

An opinion shared by Barrett Jackson, Mecum, IAAI, ACV…….

***edit*** To clarity, we’re not talking short term flipping here, or even the 5-7 year values. Long term numbers….
