I'm excited for ANY two-door on 40s! I'd even take some lame ol' electric Magneto if it came down to it; I could trailer it to Moab with my wife's JT. Of course, I'd keep my real gas burning 2020 JL Rubi.

But I'd like to see Jeep nut up and put some real beef under these things! The buy-in is tons, FCA!! Nothing else will do. Sport gets 60s - Other get 70s - and Rubis get 80s. That should work. Keep your V8s; these aren't race cars. Oh, wait! You didn't give us V8s in the two-doors! So show some love to the the real enthusiasts and put tons in the 2024 2-door.
You have hit the nail on the head right there with new Jeep pricing.. Jeep is so optioned out with all the fancies that they are already borderline affordable. Throwing D60, 70, 80 and a V8 on there and we are looking at $150k 2doors.
I say Go back to buying base and build your own.

I guess a 4 door Chevy Corvette is next because, why not?
Just as long as it comes EV only and weighs minimum 6000 pounds. I mean, who cares what a vehicle's legacy represents as long as you can turn it into an electric crossover and save the world...

No, not my point at all. What I mean is get rid of the satnav, plastic dash, leather, back seat, a/c, hard top, full doors, carpet, and electronic nannies!

Just give me a frame, tub, 6-cylinder engine, tons with lockers, atlas twin stick, manual trans, 40s and metal dash with a steering wheel and two seats. Hell, I don't even need a radio or hard top. Make the Rubi worthy of the Rubicon monicker. FCA is making the Rubicon more California snob and less Moab offroader. Sad :(

That right there would be a totally off-road vehicle with no chance of ever getting licensed for road use anywhere in US or Canada. Like the Mahindra Roxor.
