Can anyone tell me what this is on a brand new 2022 Rubicon? Factory error or legit new part and reason? Located behind passenger front wheel in front of rock rail.

Odds the online tracker will show she was built on a Friday? My first thought is a factory mishap. Part of the automated cart that carries the frame or body (can't see what exactly its attached to) through the assembly line?
Hard to read when zooming in, but there appears to be numbers and/or letters stamped into it. Maybe looking those up will come up with something?

Seems related to a fix for the crash test rollover.
But man, it looks like that thing would catch all over the place on a trail.
What engine you got? My ‘22 JLUR 2.0 doesn’t have that.
Weird! Not my Jeep, but it's on a JLUR 2.0 motor.
