Is the Alpine speaker upgrade included with that 8.4? Didn't seem to see any mention of that on the '22s.

Avoiding the Alpine speaker upgrade is the reason I stayed with the 7" screen, but I would have preferred the 8.4" option. Don't have anything against nice speakers but don't want or need a sub-woofer, and I do want/perhaps need the secret underfloor storage compartment. (JLR ordered 10/23/2021 and they were only taking 2022 orders in October here.)
Maybe I'm not recalling it correctly, but it seemed to get the bigger screen you had to take the subwoofer and lose the storage hole(?). The 8" screen required the Nav and Uconnect, which I wouldn't mind either way, so it was just the subwoofer add and storage hole loss that decided it for me.
Upside is that my girlfriend has the 8.4" on her WK2 so she will keep that bragging right

Funny the heavy duty rock sliders are on the configurator, but my salesperson couldn't find it back on the 29th, have a email into him to see if he can add them to my order.

builing a Willys i added the Gorilla glass and it forces you to get auto transmission for some reason lol. but not with the Rubi.

That's correct. With the savings of the standard 8.4" audio package and remote proximity unlocks on the 2022 rubicons, I used those savings to get the diesel option for my 2022 order!

Diesel is a pain in the ass with the DEF, but that torque is worth it! I can't wait to get my diesel. Happy to hear you got one too.

I saved $660 by locking in the price for a 4xe with a dealership before today's price change.

It also did this for the 2021 build for Hydro Blue but they all come with the gloss black grill.

Excellent , I know some don't like the looks of the gloss black grille . I like it alot . All of my wife's vehicles are red , mine are black . That way I can claim maybe a little more ownership of her vehicle .

According to Jeep.com build site Tuscadero Pink went from MY2021 $395 to MY2022 $245.

Must be a typo, all colors (except white) were $245 for '21, and they've all increased to $295 for '22 except Tuscadero which stayed the same.

Interesting, the Oct order guide had it at $245 which was the last one I had looked at prior to ordering my '22. It appears they've changed the price on the Nov order guide.

I bet that was a typo. It doesn't make sense for a limited edition color to be cheaper than the others unless the paint is about to expire!
