Hey folks.
In lieu of picking up my 2022 JL next week I was wondering if anybody else who has picked theirs up was able to add a 2022 Wrangler to their policy, or even get a quote from any company. I have tried 5-6 different companies and my VIN does not exist in their systems yet, nor does Wrangler show up under the 2022 Jeep dropdowns to manually quote. I asked my insurance company to add it to their system but that will take a couple business days.

I can tell you this.
I was pleasantly surprised when I got my first insurance bill.
It was cheaper to insure a 55k 2018 jeep then a 35k 2015 ford fusion.
It dropped almost 300 bucks. who'd have thunk that.

Yep, new 2019 Wrangler was $240 less per year vs a 2016 Mazda 3. So a vehicle with twice the msrp was less expensive.

Replaced a 2016 Mazda CX-5 in October with a 2022 Honda and it went up about $280 a year. I did notice the Honda is dropping back to approximately the same as the CX-5 on my annual renewal this month.

What insurance company you have?? Seems weird that we’re 3 months into 2022 and they don’t even have a manual drop down selection to add a 22 wrangler?? I use geico and the vin worked right after the crypto sticker notified me it was available, maybe try the geico site to get a quote and see if it works might even save you some money 🤷‍♂️

I had a similar weir issue when I got my challenger. Apparently, there was no code for the new refreshed 2015 R/T’s when they came out. When I got my insurance paperwork it was written up as an SXT (V6). I called my agent and asked, and she said, ‘we know…..don’t worry, it’s still insured’.

My daughter replaced her '19 Civic Type R with a '22 JL Willys with Progressive Insurance, and had no issues, and even saw a premium drop.

I am having the same problem with StateFarm. They just give me a generic quote from what is in their system already from last year. Once I receive and start driving it around, I'm sure they will give me an exact quote.

when I got my VIN my State Farm person was able to get me a quote, was like $340 for full coverage every 6 months. Mind you still waiting on the Jeep.

USAA had the 22 Wrangler in their drop down. There were also able to use the VIN on the Unlimited Willy's I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Full coverage is less than $4/month more expensive than on my outgoing 2005 Liberty rwd with 164000 miles.
