That tire rack link isn't the same size. The 285/70/17 are vastly cheaper than the 285/75/17
Good catch! That’s a 32.7 inch tire, vs a 33.9 inch.

My bad....for some reason your link came up as 285/70/17 for me
I could have posted a link, but all around its roughly $300 a tire for 285/75/17 ko'2 right now.

BTW, I had 34x10.5 KO2 E-load tires on my 2015 Sahara with 2-inch Mopar lift: it was the best driving Jeep on aftermarket tires I've owned, including my current JL on 35-inch Generals.

You are going to love how your Jeep drives with those 285/75R17 KO2s.

I hope that isn't the case with our order. If it doesn't the dealers gonna need to make that right.
If the factory can’t get all weather floor mats, and the dealer doesn’t have them in stock, I’m not really sure how they can make it right. They are already being refunded from the factory order. Maybe they can be ordered from other sources, I don’t really know. It’s certainly annoying, but better than sitting in a lot for months waiting on them in my opinion.

You can ask others actually dealing with this issue in this thread:https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/fo...on-jl-club-thread.40303/page-129#post-1672300

Today I pulled the trigger on everything.

I went with the 35x11.5x17 Toyo Open Country AT3's.

I went through discount tire, they said they could get me only the Toyo Open Country AT'3 in 285/75/17 (KO'2 were unavailable with no date known). Called back 20 mins later, said they were also out of stock in that size for the AT3's, but would sell me the 35x11.5x17 at the same price, so score there.

Also got a good deal on the lift kit through another dealer and they're doing the install.

Now for the willys to be finished being built. slated to go down the line next week, we'll see if that happens.

Thanks everyone on this thread for all the help.

Hello,

I just got a call from the dealer that the 2" mopar lift (some same 2.5") won't work on the stock willy's wheels. We had everything lined up, but having to go with different wheels pushed the install price for everything over $6k.

Is this in fact true?

Is there a lift that'll work with the stock willys wheels? Mostly went with the package because of the wheels.

The reason why is stock wheels are around 6” Backspacing. Mopar lift requires 4.75” Backspacing at minimum. You see pics of people with Mopar lift and stock wheels because they are
1.Running wheel spacers
2. Ignorant of the fact that they are hitting and rubbing

Could you please share the lift kit used on the 35x11.5x17 tires? I'm looking at doing this exact set up on a JLUW but haven't settled on a lift yet, possibly just could spacers w/ruby springs.
