Hi JLWF!

Newbie here looking to order a Wrangler Sahara Altitude. I’m in Austin and have been in contact with Nyle Maxwell but I seem to keep getting the runaround and their pricing is an obvious rip off every time.

Any advise on a dealer in Texas who will work with me on a build price?
Build sheet and dealer quote attached. Any advice is helpful!

That's about $4k over what you should be paying in normal times - COVID has thrown pricing off somewhat. As a Sahara owner who's looking to swap out to a Rubicon - you could spend that amount and get a Rubicon. If you're going to do any off roading, get the Rubicon!

Search this group for Preferred dealer list. You should be getting 6-7% off the FWP price. I just got 7% off in MD

I received little love or want to help from the larger dealers in the metro. I get it, it's probably hard to order what I want when there are 50 JLs on the lot.

I had better luck looking at inventory and just going to a more rural dealer 60 miles out and buying through the website.

I went to Mac Haik in Georgetown a few months ago for my order. Worked with Corey Pomeroy. Had Tread Lightly so got the 1% below and they threw in another 2% below invoice. I shopped around and never found that magic 7-8% people are talking about, but was happy with 3% under invoice. Nyle Maxwell completely ignored me. South Point is a train wreck.

Thank you for the replies. I have been through the ringer with Nyle Maxwell negotiating, but haven’t taken delivery on my build yet. I got a commitment of $50,500 OTD, original commitment was $51,823 OTD. I attached my docs for reference. Unsure if it’s the right move...thoughts?

Agree, south point was beyond rude and hit me with bull from the start!

Looks like you're at 5% below invoice with a little over $2k for TT&L for OTD. Seems like a reasonable offer.
