Installing LCA's. Should the slightly longer (.25") Mopar units have the same rubber material on the outside edge as the OEM? Original in front, new is in back. Just checking before I get to far. Also surprised the longer ones went in so easy. Thought for sure I'd have to move something that quarter inch.

The new LCA bushing looks a little different, but it is still the same type of Clevite bushing (rubber bushing bonded to an inner metal sleeve).

Let us know what you think post swap. Iā€™m curious if the 2021s gain as much as earlier model years from the LCA swap.

x2 I have a 2020 and heard the .25" helped caster a lot for relatively inexpensive investment

Lower control arms seem to work! Tracks straighter, steering feels more on center. Of course this could all be in my headšŸ˜‚. Everyone says .25 inch longer, I think the LCAā€™s were more like 3/16. Couldnā€™t easily do 190 ft/lbs. A bit of a guess there. Iā€™ll mark the bolt and nut to make sure it doesnā€™t come loose. Impact driver does 230 ft/lbs but I stoped a little early. Question, how do I measure castor on my own?

You should definitely invest in a torque wrench. Thereā€™s no way to know if youā€™re even in the ballpark with an impact.

+1 on an impact wrench. My advice is to keep an eye on SlickDeals and wait for a deal to pop up on a Ridgid one. I scooped up a Gen5X Octane 1/2ā€ impact (tool only, though I already swim in Ridgid battery ecosystem) for about $65. Well worth the money, even if itā€™s a niche tool. I think new at Home Depot itā€™s closer to $159+?

thanks for the feedback on the lca. Did you order from all mopar parts? Any update on a new free shipping code?

I hear ya, mine only does 150. Time to get more more tools!
Check out Tekton tools on Amazon. High quality tools with an amazing warranty service that wonā€™t break the bank. I have 4 of their torque wrench and I highly recommend them.

Mine did, but I needed an extra 1/8" and went with adjustable LCAs,

I'm thinking this is the part number then 68322798AA It states longer than OEM
Seems worth it for $61 but I may have to find another site since AllMoparParts.com wants $45 shipping. Anyone have a free shipping or discount code? $100 still works if I can't find local or dealer or something
