So, at 1720 miles, my new JLUR Diesel has developed a leak in the power steering pump. I was installing a RockJock base plate for towing, and saw fluid on the frame.
Took it into the dealership and got it checked out. The power steering pump “has” leaked, but wasn’t leaking when they checked it. New pump in order. They suggested not taking any long trips, and cutting down on the daily usage, if possible. They don’t want it to “blow up” before they can replace it. 1-2 weeks for part to come in.
I parked the jeep for now, using another vehicle. I would rather not drive it and get it fixed then have it cause more issues.
