Mines been odd since I bought it. I can’t go past the first click on the fuel handle. It just clicks off every time. Been meaning to get it into the dealer but haven’t had time. Takes a seemingly long time to fuel. Hasn’t overflowed because I can’t set it to automatically shut off.

That was the case for us since the day we brought it home - then it graduated to the overflow.

If/when you get it in, would appreciate comparing notes on what they tell you.

Will do. Not sure when I’ll get it in.

Update on the diesel fill problem, took rig back into dealership Mon of last week and they confirmed i need a full tank replacement. Been waiting ever since them to find a tank in their parts network and get it to them for replacement.

Global supply chain is awesome....

no way, i have more in mods into the jeep than the jeep is worth - even if they bought it back at "full price". i just need to get them to find a tank and fix it
So the only problem is you can not fill the tank up to the top?

That sucks. I know the feeling my jk was like that and out of warranty. Finally jeep did a recall for it. Maybe try another dealer?

no, there are two problems currently.

problem 1 (and primary) - cannot use the autofill function at any gas pump and it stops filling when you hold manually

problem 2 - because of this, it then overflows the tank as you never know when it's actually full

ironically, i'm at a ram dealer because the local jeep dealership has no qualified or trained diesel techs. they botched service on my wifes diesel grand cherokee about a dozen times, so that will be even worse.

So sick of Jeep Service incompetence. Its almost as if they only hire high school drop outs who's only experience is installing autozone bolt on parts, and lowering their friends honda civics.

she was too. so much so that we sold that vehicle because of the service issues. she now drives a lexus, which the service on is in a different universe than anything i've ever experienced from Jeep.

Dropping and diagnosing a fuel tank issue certainly doesn’t require a “diesel tech”.........

An injector pump......injectors.....internal engine work? Yes......a diesel tech is warranted.

noted and no interest in a debate on this. the service at the jeep dealership is shit in general. the service on diesel vehicles is whatever is below that / unacceptable. i see no reason to give them any business based on that past performance.
