update - after a 2 week wait, i gave up and picked up jeep. dealership is having all kinds of issues, computer were down and they have no idea if/when the tank was ever going to come in. now been an additional 2 weeks, and still no ETA for the tank...

#sigh
now 2+ months and counting, still no tank or ETA

Local dealership finally got the tank in, their computers up, and the engine air filter in stock to complete this project.

Now have the new tank installed and we will see if that fixed my problem. This sounds like they are seeing a lot more of this problem on the Ram pickups - not so much on the JLURD's.

Finally coming back to this as i have enough miles on the rig to comment intelligently.

Context - I have about 3k mi on the new tank and it appears to have fixed my problem. I can now plug and play the refill as anyone would expect.

No overflows, no hiccups, appears to be fixed.

hope this helps others shortcut the whole process!
