Any tips for the top liner instal? I have one on order.
It wasn't cut quite perfect so I had to work it. Picked up some doublesided gorilla rape to cover a couple of gaps. Adhesive is really sticky and will take you a while. Just follow the directions and plan a bunch of time!

I'll get a pic tomorrow. Escort sticky cup mount at the bottom of windshield. Ran the wires through the dash and out through the back of the front top dash panel. It's a smart cord too and the button will sticky velcro to the left side of my steering column.
Interested in pics as well.

Winch installed 11/1. Warn Zeon Platinum 10-s from Northern Tool. Pretty sure they messed up on pricing. Total was<$1500 shipped :)

Install was a bear. Used Warn JL winch plate. Hardest part was getting the bumper back on (lining up 8 bolts blind) and snugging the bumper nuts on. Still have one to tighten when my wobble sockets show up today. Highly recommend putting the winch rope on first before dropping the winch in place, but it is doable while sitting in the plate. Added a factor 55 ultrahook with rope guard. Morris had a deal gong which basically made the rope guard free. Still have a flip up license plate holder to install but needed to wrap this job up quickly the other night. First recovery was on my driveway hooked up to my truck to properly spool and stretch the rope.

Grill guard is Mopar picked up a few weeks ago. Installed pre-winch and made the bumper much easier to move around for sure!

If you ask why that winch on stock suspension and tires, my answer is easy. I serve on 2 local CERTs, and with our crazy Texas weather I can get involved in all kinds of stuff. In addition we travel a lot and do plan to do some offroading, plus I couldn't pass up that winch at that price!

winch looks awesome. i'm interested in the Platinum version as well but all the reviews about the remote battery not lasting very long have me skeptical.

Also, did you get that front camera optioned from the dealer or is that the Z Automotive front camera?

No feedback about the remote battery yet. Not worried since it charges usb anyway. Camera was factory on the 2021

Decided to swing by the scales on the way home. 1/2 tank of fuel so add another 100 lbs or so. With the soft top, still basically stock. Makes gross weight 5140.

Updated scale info! Changes from first one are warn Zeon 10-s platinum, warn winch plate, factor 55 ultrahook, hardtop, and a full tank of diesel. Coverking headliner installed. Weight now 5260. Most of that difference is the winch and plate, and it's all up front in the report.

Just got back from a 2400+ mile round-trip to northern Ohio from DFW. Wrangler was definitely comfortable and we appreciated the stiff Rubicon leather seats. Girls did great in their car seats with tablets, and we even got ducked by a red jk with a Bo-Sox tire over in Ohio. Plenty of room for everything. Arkansas and Tennessee gave us over 24 mpg avg doing 80+, so no complaints there. Pulled a small uhaul trailer on the way back and still averaged about 19, and I wasn't exactly going slow. Even with the trailer, the JLURD had great passing power on the highway. Can really feel the torque coming through. Pics below!

8,000 miles and finally got it off road for a day this past Sunday. Played around at Northwest OHV Park in Bridgeport, TX. Kept it all easy and never got it off 4-high. Looking forward to going with a group next time and trying out some of the real trails!

Do you feel the Coverking reduced or muffled noice from outside? Wind, passing cars?

Also, do you feel it changed the perception of the speech? As in, did it sound different when talking to someone or even listening to the radio? Just thinking that a cloth top would have a different impact of the spoken sound inside a closed box.

Can't really compare it because I never really ran without it except for the drive home a few months ago. Hard top came off on day one. Road noise isn't really noticeable and my kids have no problems talking with us in the front. Definitely like the finished look.

New years 2021 update. Did a little work over the last month. Ran a flat usb c cable behind the dash, cut a slot, and now I don't have a cable running all over to connect my phone. Next up is some sort of usb hub in the front tray for all the gadgets.

In the front I modified a flip up license plate bracket to fit over the factor 55 ultrahook with rope guard. Forms found some stainless connectors that I filled out to fit the 1/4 20 bolts and hooked it all up.

In the back I added an Outback Trailgator table and an LED light (amazon) so I can see. Put in a harness splitter behind the 12v in the rear and wired up the light through a switch. Didnt want to do the dome light thing. Happy with how it came out.

Tinted the windows and added some ppf on the grill, front of hood, and rocker panels. Not entirely happy with the ppf going over part of the Rubicon stickers as it changes the look of only some of them. Recommend if you do ppf to be very specific about what to cover and what not to cover. Will likely have that redone if I ever change out my hood stickers.

Also added an XG cargo sportsman for storage and to keep the dog in the back.

Next up is the KC driving light set on backorder for the winch guard.

Side note.. just hit 9000 and still really enjoy the diesel. Oil change in the next couple of weeks. Hoping to get out again soon with the NTJC!

First oil change in the books at 9550 miles. Picked up a full set of matching take off wheels last week for just $350 (included tpms sensors!) and today wrapped them in some new-to-me ko's 315/70/17 load range d with about 80% tread life left. For no problem, no rubbing, etc, including the spare. A little taller now and they are at least an inch wider than the stock ko2's. Looking forward to hitting some trails soon!
