Started the coilover install the last couple days on the Jeep.

I figured I would start with the rear, as this is the easier part of the install of Rebel Offroad coilover suspension. The rear has less cutting and zero welding. The front is where most of the cutting and welding will be needed.

I have a cage planned for the end of the year and was wondering - did you use the Rock Solid fab kit they just started offering? Looks very similar and you have some pics that look like whats on their website/social media. Was thinking of going RSF vs. Genright but was wondering your reviews thus far if so.

My cage was custom made from Undercover Fab Works in Dothan, Alabama.

Beautiful build. Do you think you could post a sound clip of startup and idle? Curious as to how it sounds as I'm debating on doing something similar to mine. Thank you!

Sorry been busy with work and the summer starting.

I need to post clip of the exhaust note.

I also need to get started on the front suspension.
I feel the same way, got so much going on lately I haven't been putting as much time into the Wrangler. But that'll change in late July when we get back from our vacation.

Can't wait to hear that exhaust note!

I would love to hear the exhaust with the work that has been done.

I do have a question for you with regards to the work. We all are getting the recall notice now for the pump. Do you have a great relationship with your dealer to make sure the pump is covered? Or is the pump part of what got reworked?

You mentioned your nemesis flares and rear tail light housings were powder coated, any chance you know the brand and color code you used, looks like they match the Firecracker Red really well and I have some parts I’d like to get color matched soon!

This is my exact question! I have been waiting for the "fix" before I remove all that extra weight even though all of it is much lighter than it used to be ;)

I wouldn't give your hopes up. This has been an issue with this HPFP for 11 years now. With the low number of actual failures, I'm pretty sure FCA has decided that they'd rather just replace ones that break rather than replacing all of them. Much more cost-effective.

However I have at least one honest dealer in DFW who told me that any changes to "weight reduction" will void any engine warranty. Given that the HPFP and the air intake come from two different directions, I don't know if that would hold up in court, I feel like they would have to replace it regardless. But within the "weight reduction" there's definitely a high like the anything after the air intake would be voided.
