Have been complaining to my dealer since Feb with no help so far. Had the windshield changed in Feb and found corrosion under the glass. I also have bubbles on the edge of the hood and paint is transferring off onto the rubber gaskets on hood and back door.

Wow that's bad. Maybe try a different dealer. Also contact Jeep corporate.

follow up... thanks to Jeep Canada my dealer just advised me that they have now been authorized to fix the rust but will not give me a loaner while the work is being done. this is my 5th Jeep product, 3 of which were wranglers and its the last!

Mine took over two months. After month 1, Jeep corporate offered one week rental. Anything after that you'd have to pay for then they would reimburse you. Didnt want to deal with it and I have several cars so I passed.

Yep as suspected your Dealer was giving you a line of BS saying they could not help you. Once pushed by FCA Stellantis - the Dealer will typically comply and do this under the 5 year TSB warranty.

For the loaner - FCA Stellantis can sometimes help - but the dealer also has discretion to provide loaners. Our did it for over 3 weeks letting us use a base JL which we took off-road. They also had a Sahara as a loaner that was out at the time. My guess is that the Dealer was only reimbursed for the loaner by FCA partially.

My original dealer did 2 corrosion repairs through outside body shops - then stopped. They were complaining they were not getting paid much - so were not very helpful getting any issues sorted since this was outside work.

So we had to find a Jeep dealer with an in house body shop. The one we ended up using was fantastic. Very professional and knew exactly how to deal with Jeep corporate. Only issue was we had to drive for an hour to get there vs 15min. Body shop manager was very thorough and got Jeep corporate to agree in writing it was ok have the work completed after 5 years because of the parts delay.

Good to see that Jeep Canada stepped in and sorted out your dealer. As I know you had posted that your dealer was initially not wanting to help you - then deleted that post.
