Yeah I have a new bumper and a winch waiting in the garage. The Jeep? A no show so far!

The winch arrived a week after ordering. The Rugged Ridge Venator bumper took about 8 weeks. The Jeep? 11 weeks and counting.

It means they have a schedule but won't reveal it yet. If any 2021s go through the line before the 2020s that have been waiting since February there will be a civil war.

Hi,
I ordered on the same day your exact High Altitude except in Grey Metallic.
I was told I had a Vin a being built by a dealer email but he didnt provide me with the number.
I will ask for that now, I'm in NJ so maybe our Jeeps will be on the same train/carrier.
I had to get a Grand Cherokee for my wife the same day to prevent her from getting her own Wrangler..

Not sure what's going on but my dealer is being elusive with the vin. I called late today and got a run around. I might call tomorrow with more pressure but other members have stated similar situations. I've read somewhere that dealers only get a certain amount of builds every month?

3/17/21 - ordered
3/18/21 - VON and VIN received
3/25/21 - all parts received and awaiting build
3/31/21 - dealer says estimated ship date of 4/27/21.
4/19/21 - dealer says status is D1, showing estimated ship date of 4/29/21, with delivery taking 10-14 days.
4/27/21 - build sheet issued.
4/28/21 - Jeep Chat says 'initial' build complete, awaiting Quality Inspection.
5/7/21 - Still in "inspection". Then, will move to "install additional equipment", which could be up to another 14 days. Then, it should move to shipment, which could be up to ANOTHER 14 days. So, could still be a month+ out.
5/21/21 - STILL in inspection!!! Jeep chat has 'escalated my order'.
6/3/21 - My dealer called today...FINALLY moved to "in transit!"
6/4/21 - window sticker issued.
6/9/21 - My dealer sent me a text..it has ARRIVED!
Exactly 12 weeks from order to at the dealer.
6/11/21 - picked it up.

I was given the run around whenever i asked about the Vin/Von early on, was given false status updates, took days to return calls email etc, wanted sticker price when it came in and pointed to the disclaimer at the bottom of the sell sheet. The lot only had a few JL's and they claimed that there wasn't a Jeep like this within 300 miles. No kidding cause I built it!

The other dealership sold a jeep i put a $500 deposit down on so I could get my wife in later that day to see it. 2020 Sport S manual in Punk'n

I wonder if it's the same dealer I had to call two days in a row after a two week deposit 3/2 for the Vin/Von. I called today and finally got info. My Wrangler is built and in KZ status whatever that is.

I've been having a similar situation with my dealership. They've been elusive in giving me even the VON. From day one, they told me builds are currently taking at least 4 months. But now I read on here that's rarely the case. I get the runaround each time I reach out.

If they haven't even submitted my build to the factory, can I get my $1k refunded so that I can pursue another dealership? Is that what you experienced 48thChamber?
