2021 Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

Date ordered: 10/6

Friday(10/9) I decided I was going to regret not opting for the alpine audio so I asked them if it was too late to add. Dealer said it might be because on Thursday(10/8) it had flipped over to scheduled(dealers words, whatever that means...) but he would put in the request and see if it gets accepted, but we wouldn’t know until after the long weekend.

Found out Tuesday(10/13) it was accepted!!

(11/07) Heard from dealer that they were informed my Jeep would probably be built around (11/09)

(11/12) Informed by dealer that my Jeep missed the November builds and wouldn’t be built until December

At this point I felt completely deflated knowing there was going to be no movement for at least another 3 weeks.(I should point out that the dealer had told me it would be about 90 days from order to taking possession, but I thought he was just saying that so as not to over promise... looks like he wasn’t)

(12/01) Informed by dealer that they were told my Jeep would be built on (12/13)

(12/12) Informed by dealer that my Jeep was in paint

(12/14) Informed by dealer that my Jeep has been built and the estimated date for it to land at the dealership is late December -early January!!

Hopefully I’m in my new Jeep by the New Year!
The wait is real people!

Congrats on your Jeep getting built! I ordered my Willys manual equipped similar to yours Oct 19/20. No updates from my dealer lately only that it was accepted as a "good order". Maybe your news is a good sign for me as I'm also in Canada.

bypassed the incompetent salesman, after hearing "two more weeks" for a month and a half, and got a real answer from the manager, who texted a screenshot of his pc screen.

In September I sold my 2018 JL and bought a Tesla Model 3. 3 months later (three days ago), I drove the Model 3 straight to the Jeep dealer, got it appraised, test drove the 2021 Sport S above, walked back into the store and swapped my keys. The moment I sat back in the Wrangler I felt like I was back home.

I did almost the same thing. I had a flat tire on the model 3, which meant a flatbed to the Tesla dealer. Drove it right from there to the Jeep dealership and picked up my Rubi. Didn’t even stop at home on the way.

I don’t miss it. It was terrible build quality and didn’t like to drive over things.
