2021 JL Build Status - Post Yours

Question. Jeep.com is showing an all black steering wheel and instrument cluster on the sahara altitude . But the 2020s are being delivered with the cheesy chrome trim.should I call my dealer and ask what’s up?

Well I hope the dash is red on my JL Rubicon with bullet silver exterior, I like the red accents.

Ordered my 2-door on 9-June, got the VIN on 19-June, advised today that estimated ship date is 7-August, although my dealer said to expect it at the dealership end of August to early September.

I did note that the base price has increased $70 from date of order to today. After placing my order at the dealership on 5-June for an MY20, which was then rejected on 8-June as no more MY20 allocation I was told the price went up $500 for MY21....... So I am getting a little tired of the price hikes.

I have a VON and a VIN! Got an email a bit ago from my guy (after I emailed him Thursday). I’m in D1 status and he said plan for eight weeks, so maybe early September. Now I just have to waaaaaaaaaait. Happy dance!!!

There is no one that can tell you when it will be built for sure until it is actually built, you could be in D1 a long time or go back to D. There are still 2020 Jan, Feb and Mar orders waiting but some May and early June ones have been built and delivered..

I have. I know I’m probably being overly optimistic but a girl can hope, right?!?! Believe me I’ve been reading ALLof the things. I do appreciate all the time you put into posting that info though! I printed it earlier this week and added it to my random stack of obsessive Jeep paperwork. I will try (and fail) not to get my hopes up too high.
