Optional. Is it just an option right now or is it mandatory, like the rear camera ?

Anyone think there will be a front camera retrofit kit available in the future?
Can’t disagree, but if they used it on the EPA test cycle it is not going anywhere. [and, let's face it, it is only there to help the EPA test cycle]. It won’t even allow permanent disablement except through the aftermarket.ESS on diesel is STUPID... just my (not so humble) opinion...
It might make it into the accessories catalogue, otherwise it will be a case of figuring out part numbers.I already have a 2020, would like to retrofit the front camera.
eTorque isnt on all engines. The gas turbo doesnt have it. Which is interesting, because I have the eTorque system in my 2.0 Sahara, but I have a 2019. So far mine has been flawless, over 14 months. And with that said, me personally, while I don’t want to have to do so, I don’t really have a problem pressing the disable button or using something like the Taser Mini to permanently disable it. At least at that point you have a normally functioning gas engine. My bigger concern is the new eTorque system on ALL engines. I guess I don’t fully understand it but it sounds like it’s partially a hybrid engine. Can someone explain this to me ? Is this a good thing or a bad thing ?
It's a very very mild hybrid system that is added to some jeeps to help improve off the line fuel efficiency by an EPA rating of 1mpg.What is the eTorque system exactly ?
