Anytime! But yeah I definitely like the XR wheels too they’re beadlocks so I personally like them more… even the 392 wheels which may be the same I think just different color? Not sure but yeah honestly if you decide you want to get the Willy’s wheels throw and offer my way and I may just do it so I can put it towards some beadlocks 😂 might just be the push I need to pull the trigger lol
I’m late to the thread, but your 35” tires on the 7.5” oem wheel peaked my interest. I recently installed a rubicon suspension on a JLUW that yielded approximately 1” lift, front/rear. Currently running 285/70/17 rubber, but more than likely jumping to 285/75/17, adding Mopar LCA’s and .75” coil spacers next year. Probably a spare tire relocation bracket for good measure, as well. In PA tire poke fails annual inspection, so I’m limited to 285 width or add flare extensions or have a second set of smaller tires for inspection. How much driver side front/rear wheel well clearance do you have now? It seems it’s still a bit tight possibly limiting full wheel articulation.

The new wheels look great! Another concern I had with going past 34" on the Willys is gearing. Do you notice any power loss or struggling to get out of 8th, assuming you got the V6/auto trans?

Initially when I went to 35s it was SLIGHTLY sluggish… before going to a full blown re-gear I installed an Airraid CAI and it gave the Jeep a great sound as well as put some extra pep in it’s step… was a fantastic solution if not wanting to spend the money or deal with the hassle of re-gearing… and yes it’s the 3.6L/auto trans

Great points. This is why I'm leaning towards 285/75/17 (34"). I don't "wheel", so it's more for aesthetics. Load c is another feature I want on the next set of tires.

Any update on the wheel well spacing? Also, what made you upgrade the MOAB oem wheels to the beadlocks, just appearance?

It’s about 5.5-6” between top of tire and bottom of fender and the main reason for the wheels was to get my tires to poke without using wheel spacers but I do also prefer the beadlock look. Appearance wasn’t the main reason tho cuz I do really like the original MOAB wheels

Tire poke is nice, but unfortunately it’s not allowed in PA.

Yeah I know, I work at a “Mod friendly” dealer tho so I have no problem with inspections and cops here don’t care either.

What front fender flares do you got, they look like Ruby LED? Part# is also appreciated.

They’re just the factory fenders that’s come on the Willy’s… did a fender chop with the rugged ridge led turn signal bracket tho. I also have rugged ridge fender liners.

Nice, any part numbers? Below is my current set up including a Ruby suspension on 285/70/17 rubber. I’m thinking small .75” coil spacers plus Mopar 2” LCA’s will be added after sizing up to 285/75/17. As it sits, there’s approximately.5” rake, so after the bike rack is on its level.

Here is a link to the fender chop brackets:
Rugged Ridge 11640.95 Fender Flare Chop Brackets Pair with Daytime Running Lights (DRL) fits 2018-Current Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator (Except Rubicon) https://a.co/d/hInHk1R

I wish I would have went with a 3.5inch lift rather than a 2.5inch since the added weight of bumpers, winch, and other armor it isn’t quite as lifted as I would like anymore but maybe when I get a Rubicon I’ll go 3.5 instead lol

Any issues with the fender chop bracket kit and did you need to tazer or reflash it to work?

I have a tazer but didn’t use it for anything with the fender chop… I will say I have gotten a little water intrusion which I just haven’t filed for a warranty replacement yet but otherwise no complaints… and it has a 5 yr warranty for the water intrusion… just need to send a pic of it and proof of purchase and they send you new ones, don’t even need the original back and no need to pay shipping or anything… unlike what I needed to do for my Oracle flush mount tail lights… 1000000x better warranty than Oracle!
